Dale Sinkler
President & CEO
Since its formation half a decade ago, OMS has increasingly carved out a niche in the power market. OMS has successfully completed projects in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, effectively working on such projects as KESC's generation and transmission and Balloki's commissioning. We have served our customers, won their trust, and excelled in competency. Having won the bids for the Owner's Engineer for the biggest coal project in India, a breakthrough co-generation assignment in Pakistan, and the 84 megawatt Nairobi engine-based project in Kenya all demonstrate OMS' status as a substantial player in the power market. Our combined years of professional experience have led to another co-gen O&M project in Pakistan with the renowned Packages Group. Such international recognition is a tribute to the quality of OMS' values and professional integrity.
OMS' quest for continual improvement remains at the center of our business philosophy. Our experience ranges from project development, project management, construction, supervision, testing and commissioning to the long-term operation and maintenance of power plants - efficiently, economically and effectively.
It is a testament to OMS' quality that even amidst the world economy's recent struggles and crises, OMS has continued to grow and strengthen, having begun new projects and ventured into new markets. Over the last five years since OMS' inception, we have faithfully served the power market by playing an active role in more than 8000 MWs of power ranging from 450 MWS O&M project in India to the interim Management of Transmission & Generation of KESC. As the fastest growing service provider in the power industry, every act that we do springs from our core values of Integrity, Fairness, Accountability and Social Responsibility. This is the source from which we derive our goals and visions to serve our customers and the world at large.
Social responsibility remains at the heart of OMS. During the 2010 floods in Pakistan, we helped more than 10,000 flood victims by providing medical aid, food and tents. As we begin a new year, we remain focused and determined that OMS will remain a winning team as we continue providing the best services to ourvalued customers.
