ENGINEER E&I

We are seeking an experienced E&I Engineer for 50MW Solar Power Plant with at least 3 years of proven performance and a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering. Candidates with solid expertise in Maintenance and Operational Excellence will be highly regarded.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

✔️ BS Electrical/Electronic Engineering
✔️ 3+ Years of Professional in E&I systems

✔️Proven experience with: Solar inverters (preferably multi-megawatt, string or central types),

33kV & 132kV control and protection schemes, Electrical testing and commissioning

✔️ Prior experience in utility-scale Solar Power Plants is highly preferred
✔️ Reside conveniently in Karachi or Gharo.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of E&I systems in solar PV plants.
2. Prepare and review single-line diagrams, control & protection schematics, cable layout drawings.
3. Supervise installation and commissioning of major electrical assets including PV modules, 2MW Inverters (x25), 33kV and 132kV Transformers & Switchgear, SCADA, NES systems, AC/DC battery banks (48VDC, 220VDC), Weather stations, house transformers, 165kVA generator.
4. Ensure seamless integration and reliable maintenance of instrumentation systems for effective plant monitoring and performance analysis.
5. Ensure adherence to relevant standards and codes (IEC, NEC) and grid compliance requirements.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in operational plants, optimizing system reliability and efficiency.
7. Maintain accurate technical documentation (O&M manuals, test protocols, commissioning records, calibration logs).
8. Prepare and maintain up-to-date records and daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as part of the plant’s Maintenance Management System (MMS), ensuring accurate tracking of preventive and corrective activities.
