Unit Size: 254 MW each GT; Combined Cycle Generation 365 MW
Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) signed a turnkey EPC contract with M/S China National Technical Import & Export Corporation (CNTIC), China & CMC China Consortium for the installation of Ghorashal 365 MW Combined Cycle Power plant. The project is implemented by Tenderer’s financing (Buyer’s credit for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd. (ICBC)). Power of the proposed plant will be evacuated through the existing Bay or proposed GIS substation implemented by Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB).
It is a Combined Cycle Power plant with 1 No. Gas Turbine Generator (Siemens SGT5 -4000F), 1 No. HRSG (Doosan, Korea), 1 No. Steam Turbine Generator (Dong fang).
OMS provided following services to Bangladesh Power Development Board:
- Design Validation: Checking and Approval of Design Calculations, Drawings and Specifications submitted by the Turnkey Contractor
- Erection Supervision: Supervision of Erection Work of all Electrical, Mechanical, I&C and Civil works.
- Commissioning Support: Collaborating with BPDB Testing and Commissioning Team to ensure smooth and timely plant commissioning process.
- Project Assistance: Assisting all Concerned to ensure proper and timely completion, facilitating a seamless commissioning phase.
