Bibiyana South, 400±10% MW Gas Based Combined Cycle Power plant is located at Village: Parkul, Upazila: Nabiganj, District: Habiganj. Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has selected the Joint Venture (JV-OMS-LII-PEMEC) as the Owner’s Engineer for the implementation of this Project. Construction period for this Project is 900 Days (including simple cycle completion time 720 days) and Warranty period is 24 months. This project will be implemented by “Energy Development & Maintenance Fund of BPDB”.

It is a Combined Cycle Power plant with 1 No. Gas Turbine Generator (Siemens SGT5 4000F), 1 No. HRSG (CMI, Belgium), 1 No. Steam Turbine Generator (Siemens)

OMS provided following services to BPDB:

• Design Validation: Carefully review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications submitted by the Turnkey Contractor.
• Erection Oversight: Supervise the erection work for electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control (I&C), and civil components.
• Commissioning Support: Provide assistance to the BPDB Testing and Commissioning Team.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure a proper, timely, and seamless completion and commissioning of the plant.
