The Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh Ltd (EGCB)

Bangladesh has committed through its National Energy Policy to provide reliable and affordable power to all by 2021. To fulfill the target, Government of Bangladesh (GOB) has taken several initiatives. Electricity Generation Company of Bangladesh (EGCB) Ltd. is a government owned company for electricity generation in Bangladesh. It intends to establish a 3000 MW (5x600MW) Combined Cycle Power Plant.
