Max Group - Kushiara Power Company Limited

Kushiara Power Company Limited (KPCL), a concern of MAX Power Division, is the Developer of 163 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant located at Fenchuganj, Sylhet, Bangladesh, consisting of one GE Frame 9E.03 Gas Turbine, backed by One Dual pressure HRSG and One Single Cylinder Steam Turbine with water cooled condenser & 6-cells wet cooling towers. Gas turbine is GE make and Steam Turbine is also GE make being manufactured & supplied from their plant in Italy. HRSG is CMI supplied & Condensers are being manufactured at Foster wheeler.

On the Electrical circuit, it is a GCB scheme, with GCB being supplied by Alstom France. Gas Turbine Generator is manufactured by Andritz Austria while Steam Turbine Generator is manufactured at Toshiba, Japan. Step up transformers are Three phase being manufactured at M/S Shandong Taikai. Switchyard is an open type GIS being supplied by M/S Shandong Taikai. Circulating water pumps are being supplied by Mather & Platt. Boiler Feed Pumps are being supplied by KSB. Gas Booster Compressors for this plant are Supplied by IR of USA. Plant contents DCS is GE make Mark VIe.

OMS provides following services to Kushiara Power Company Limited:

• Maintenance of gas turbine, steam turbine, generators, HRSG and Balance of Plant (BOP).
• Reporting: Update to the Owner on plant O&M activities.
• Operations: Responsible for all operational activities of the plant.
• Training: Train and reorganize the Owner’s Staff as required
