2.6 MW Machai Hydropower project is located near Katlang in District Mardan of Pakhtunkhwa Province (KP) on Machai Canal, which is a part of Upper Swat Canal System, off-taking from Amandara Headworks on River Swat. 

The Complex consists of One unit of Double Regulated 2.6 MW Vertical-Kaplan Turbine and one Generator having rated capacity 3.25 MVA AC Synchronous. 

• Certificate of Readiness. 
• Certificate of Readiness for Synchronization. 
• An Overall/ Comprehensive Certificate regarding Commissioning of the Complex 
• Capacity Test Certificate. 
• Certificate to the effect that based upon its monitoring and review of construction, the construction of the complex has been carried out in all material respect in compliance with the terms of Power Purchase Agreement. 
• Verification of the calibration results of Water Meters and Power Output (MW & MVAR) meters installed on individual Generator’s Cabinet. 
• Witness the installation and calibration of the Metering System and the Back-up Metering System and certification of the results. 
• Witnessing & verification or otherwise of the various parameters of the Manufacturer’s Curves (Power Output (MW) vs Discharge (mᶟ/sec)) for individual Units and for the Complex as well as of Generator Capability Curve (MW vs MVAR) against  different loading positions.
